Editing



Crest Digital offers 8 multi-functional integrated workstations for maximum project efficiency. Each workstation has equal graphics and full editing capabilities with the convenience of 35 TB of powerful SAN shared storage. We offer an intelligent, optimal approach for project handling from full bandwidth SD through 4:4:4 HD. Supported formats include: D5, Digital Betacam, D2, D1, DVcam, 1” and 3/4”, including full 625/525 support and cross-conversion. The latest versions of Shake, Maya Avid, Final Cut Pro HD, After Effects and Photoshop are on hand along with skilled staff ready to maximize quality and efficiency of any project. Our highly talented editing staff is also available to clients who are looking for an in house editor. Final audio mixing is available in either of our fully equipped Pro Tools based mixing suites with a simple digital transfer from the online. DTS, Dolby Digital and Dolby E encoding are all available for your final mix. Color Correction



Crest Digital offers FinalTouch™ HD by Silicon Color, delivering the most advanced set of tools ever created for real time color correction and seamless integration with Final Cut Pro. FinalTouch™ HD was designed from the ground up as a digital color finishing tool. Today's needs are met in an uncompromising product that works with HD QuickTime media in real time—meaning a colorist can manipulate primaries, secondaries, effects and geometries (pan-scan-rotate-zoom) either while the content is playing or in single frame mode. No proxies are required to accomplish this groundbreaking throughput. FinalTouch represents the most advanced set of color finishing tools offered today. It provides full support for the highest possible bit-depths, both internally and to the display.

Dubbing/Subtitling



Crest Digital is one of the world's preeminent providers of foreign language dubbing and subtitling for major feature films and television programs. We offer foreign language subtitling and voice over dubbing in over 65 languages including all Asian languages. Our theatrical dubbing capabilities include Japanese, Latin and Castilian Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, English and Parisian and Canadian French. Dubbing services are available locally as well as in-territory.

Telecine



Crest Digital is pleased to offer the next step in HD and SD telecine, Cineglyph™, delivering a new standard in image quality. Cineglyph provides outstanding film-to-tape transfers from 16mm and 35mm film as well as the world's first fully capable HD 65/70mm flying spot telecine. Transfers are available digitally in 525, 625, 720p, 1080p and 1080i in three state-of-the-art telecine suites. Our capabilities include high-resolution transfers from 5, 8, 10 and 15 perf 65/70mm film, 2, 3, 4 and 8 (VistaVision™) perf 35mm film, and 16mm film.

Audio



Crest Digital offers a complete range of audio services to satisfy your delivery requirements for Home Video/DVD, TV/airline, Broadcast and CD pre-mastering. We provide record, transfer, editing, conforming, layback, and sweetening services both in 625 and 525. We feature significant Pro Tools™ digital audio editing capabilities including DTS, Dolby Digital and Dolby E encoding as well as virtually all major digital, analog and optical audio formats with up to 24 channel multi-track capabilities.

Duplication/Conversions



Crest Digital provides a wide range of submastering, duplication and conversion services. Supported formats include: D5, Digital Betacam, D2, D1, DVCam, 1”, and 3/4” including full 625/525 support. Conversion services include aspect ratio conversions, down conversions, up conversions, cross conversions, Alchemist and frame based standards conversion.

Videocassette Duplication



Crest Digital offers the highest quality videocassette duplication for the home video, industrial and non-theatrical markets and we are the world's largest airline duplicator. We offer NTSC duplication in VHS, SVHS, Hi8, and V8mm and PAL duplication in VHS and SVHS. We have over 1000 videocassette duplicators under custom automated control in our 7500-square-foot, climate-controlled VCR room. Cassettes are recorded in real time using only the highest grade tape stocks to insure the finest quality attainable. This commitment to excellence is further supported by three-part quality control of each cassette. We also offer a wide range of packaging options which can be customized as your project requires.

Encoding



Crest Digital is a preeminent provider of SD and HD encoding services for DVD, Digital Cinema, VOD, archiving and digital delivery. We feature the industry's finest encoders combined with the expertise of experienced compressionists providing the finest encoding attainable including JPEG 2000, MPEG 1, 2 & 4, Windows Media, and Quick Time.

Restoration



Crest Digital offers complete digital video restoration services using the MTI DRS system. If your video master needs a few shot fixes or a complete program overhaul, our skilled restoration artists have the knowledge and experience to guide your project through the digital restoration process. Our capabilities include dirt/scratch/flicker removal, grain reduction, image stabilization and cadence repair, providing a complete tool set for any restoration job.
